GIGABYTE has expanded its premium gaming portfolio in India with the introduction of the AORUS MASTER 16, a flagship laptop that blends brute performance with intelligent, AI-driven usability. Aimed at serious gamers, creators, and power users, the new machine focuses not only on raw hardware muscle but also on smarter system control.
At the core of the AORUS MASTER 16 is Intel’s latest Core
Ultra 9 275HX processor, paired with graphics options going all the way up to
the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. This combination delivers exceptional
computing and graphical performance, making the laptop well-suited for
demanding AAA gaming, 3D rendering, and AI-assisted creative workloads.
What truly sets the device apart is GiMATE, GIGABYTE’s
proprietary AI assistant. Designed around a large language model, GiMATE
introduces a hands-free “Press and Speak” interaction model, allowing users to
control system functions using voice commands. From switching power profiles
and tuning cooling behaviour to adjusting audio settings, GiMATE transforms
everyday system management into a conversational experience.
Commenting on the launch, Supriya Mankame, Deputy General
Manager at GIGABYTE India, highlighted the shift in user expectations, noting
that modern devices must go beyond performance to deliver intelligence. The
AORUS MASTER 16, she said, represents the company’s commitment to leading the
next generation of AI-enabled computing in India.
Thermal performance is another area where the laptop pushes
boundaries. The WINDFORCE INFINITY EX cooling architecture is engineered to
handle up to 230W of thermal power, ensuring sustained performance under
extreme loads. The system combines a vapour chamber, 158 ultra-thin asymmetric
fan blades, and a 3D VortX airflow design to maintain lower noise levels while
efficiently dissipating heat during extended gaming or professional sessions.
Visually, the laptop features a 16-inch OLED display with
WQXGA resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits peak brightness,
delivering sharp visuals, rich contrast, and fluid motion. Memory and storage
configurations are equally robust, with support for up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and 4TB
PCIe NVMe SSD storage, ensuring ample headroom for multitasking and large
projects.
Connectivity options are comprehensive, including
Thunderbolt 5, HDMI 2.1, multiple USB ports, RJ-45 Ethernet, a microSD card
reader, and a high-capacity 99Wh battery, powered by a 330W adapter to support
high-performance components.
Separately, GIGABYTE also highlighted the Vista Tab 30, a productivity-focused tablet powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset and 12GB RAM (including virtual expansion). The device ships with itel’s AI Voice Assistant and comes preloaded with educational and family-friendly applications such as Learning Center (K–12 content), iPulse Kids Space, and Screen Projection, positioning it as a versatile option for students, professionals, and households seeking a balance between learning and entertainment.
