Artificial intelligence with high-end hardware and refined design. Introduced on July 24, 2024, the smartwatch is offered in 40mm and 44mm case sizes to suit different users.
Performance & Core Hardware
At the heart of the Galaxy Watch 7 is Samsung’s Exynos W1000
chipset, built using an advanced 3nm manufacturing process. This penta-core
processor significantly improves responsiveness and multitasking while
consuming less power, resulting in smoother operation and longer battery
efficiency compared to previous generations.
Smart AI Capabilities
With the addition of Galaxy AI, the watch moves beyond basic tracking into intelligent health assistance. Features like Energy Score analyze sleep quality and physical activity to indicate daily stamina levels, while Wellness Tips deliver customized recommendations. The watch also enhances communication through AI-generated quick replies for messages.
Health & Fitness Monitoring
Samsung has upgraded its BioActive Sensor, now featuring 13
LEDs to improve the accuracy of heart rate readings and sleep monitoring. The
watch also includes body composition analysis using BIA technology and supports
ECG measurements. A standout addition is sleep apnea detection, which has
received FDA approval, making it one of the more advanced health features in a
consumer smartwatch.
Display & Build Quality
The Galaxy Watch 7 uses a vivid Super AMOLED screen capable
of reaching 2000 nits, ensuring clear visibility even outdoors. Protection
comes from sapphire crystal glass, while the body is constructed from Armor
Aluminum for added durability. The device is designed to handle tough
conditions with 5ATM water resistance and an IP68 rating.
Connectivity & Navigation
For accurate movement tracking, the watch supports dual-band GPS (L1 + L5). Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, and NFC for contactless payments. Users can also opt for LTE variants, enabling phone-free calls, messaging, and data access
