Oppo’s upcoming Reno 15 lineup — including the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and the newly introduced Reno 15 Pro Mini — marks a clear shift toward premium photography and extreme durability. After debuting in China in November 2025, the range is set to arrive in India on January 8, 2026, targeting users who want flagship-grade cameras without jumping into ultra-premium pricing.
One of the biggest talking points this year is build
quality. Oppo has reinforced the phones with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame
and added a rare triple-layer protection rating (IP66, IP68, and IP69), meaning
the devices can handle dust, submersion, and even high-pressure water jets —
something still uncommon in this segment.
Display Experience
All three models feature 120Hz AMOLED screens with 1.5K
resolution, ensuring smooth visuals and crisp detail.
The Reno 15 Pro gets the largest panel at 6.78 inches,
paired with ultra-thin bezels measuring just 1.15mm and protected by Gorilla
Glass Victus 2.
The standard Reno 15 offers a 6.59-inch display, while the
Pro Mini caters to compact-phone fans with a 6.32-inch screen.
Brightness is another highlight, with Pro variants pushing
up to 3,600 nits, making outdoor visibility a non-issue.
Camera-Centric Design
Staying true to Oppo’s “camera-first” philosophy, the Reno
15 series goes all-in on imaging hardware. Every model shares the same powerful
triple-camera setup:
A 200MP primary camera using Samsung’s HP5 sensor with
optical image stabilisation
A 50MP ultra-wide lens for landscapes and group shots
A 50MP periscope telephoto camera capable of 3x–3.5x optical
zoom and up to 120x digital zoom
For selfies and video calls, Oppo includes a 50MP front
camera that can record in 4K, putting it ahead of many rivals in this price
bracket.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the lineup is driven by the MediaTek
Dimensity 8450 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for fast
app loading and smooth multitasking. On the software side, the phones ship with
Android 16 layered with ColorOS 16, offering the latest UI features straight
out of the box.
Battery and Charging
Battery capacity is another strong point:
The Reno 15 Pro packs a massive 6,500mAh battery, supported
by 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging
The Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro Mini feature slightly smaller
6,200mAh batteries, still backed by 80W fast charging
Expected Pricing in India
While Oppo hasn’t confirmed official pricing yet, early
estimates suggest:
Reno 15 could launch below ₹50,000
Reno 15 Pro Mini may land around ₹59,999 for the 12GB RAM +
256GB storage variant
Reno 15 Pro is expected to command a higher premium, likely priced above the previous Reno Pro launch level.
