Google has unveiled a new Pixel Upgrade Program in India, designed to make owning and upgrading a Pixel smartphone easier and lighter on the wallet. The initiative lets users buy a Pixel phone on a 24-month no-cost EMI, starting at ₹3,333 per month, and upgrade to a newer Pixel model midway—without financial hassle.
How the Pixel Upgrade Program Works
Think of it as a subscription-style smartphone upgrade:
1. Choose your Pixel – Select a device from the upcoming
Pixel 10 series.
2.Buy on EMI – Purchase it from an authorised partner
store using a 24-month no-cost EMI plan
3. Register online – Enrol in the Pixel Upgrade Program
on Cashify’s website within one month of purchase.
4. Upgrade mid-cycle – After paying 9 EMIs (before the
15th EMI), you can switch to a new Pixel model.
What Makes It Different?
* No lump-sum payment upfront
* Midway upgrade option without penalty
* No pre-closure charges on your old loan
* Cashify clears the remaining EMI balance and credits
it directly to your bank account
* You’re then enrolled into a fresh 24-month EMI plan for the new Pixel
Why This Matters
With smartphone prices climbing, Google is betting on
flexibility over ownership. This program turns Pixel phones into
upgrade-friendly devices, aligning with users who want the latest tech
without waiting years or paying full price again.
💬 Would you upgrade your
phone this way, or do you prefer owning it outright?
📱 Is a ₹3,333/month
Pixel tempting enough to switch brands?
Google’s move could redefine how premium smartphones are bought in India—less as one-time purchases, more as evolving tech experiences.
