Acer has expanded its AI-ready laptop portfolio with the launch of the Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI, positioning them as everyday productivity machines powered by Intel’s newest Core Ultra Series 3 processors. Classified as Copilot+ PCs, these laptops are built for users who want lightweight designs, long battery life, and built-in AI capabilities without moving into premium pricing territory.
Performance and AI Capabilities
Both models can be configured with processors going up to
the Intel Core Ultra 9 386H, which integrates a dedicated Neural Processing
Unit (NPU) capable of delivering up to 47 TOPS of AI performance. This enables
on-device AI features while supporting Microsoft’s Copilot+ experiences. Acer
also bundles its own AI-driven utilities, including AcerSense for system
management and PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice for enhanced video calls and
audio clarity.
Display, Design, and Build
The Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI feature 16:10 WUXGA
(1920×1200) panels that offer more vertical screen space for work and
multitasking. Refresh rates can go up to 120 Hz, with select variants offering
OLED panels and touch support. Both laptops follow a thin-and-light design
philosophy, incorporate a 180-degree hinge, a spacious precision touchpad, and
include a dedicated Copilot key for quick AI access.
Memory, Storage, and Battery
Users can opt for configurations with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X
RAM and as much as 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage, making these machines
suitable for both casual and demanding workloads. Acer claims impressive
endurance, with battery life reaching up to 22 hours of video playback, depending
on usage and configuration.
Connectivity and Ports
Connectivity is well covered with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth
5.3, along with a versatile port selection that includes:
Two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support
Two USB-A ports
HDMI 2.1
3.5mm audio jack
Availability and Pricing
Intel Core Ultra Series 3–based consumer laptops began
rolling out globally from January 27, 2026. The Aspire 14 AI is slated to
arrive in EMEA markets in Q2 2026 and North America in Q3 2026, while the
Aspire 16 AI is expected in both regions in Q2 2026. Pricing will differ by
region and configuration, with starting prices estimated at ₹85,400 for the
Aspire 14 AI and ₹1,06,735 for the Aspire 16 AI.
