itel Zeno 20 Max Brings Military-Grade Toughness to the Sub-₹6K Smartphone Segment

The itel Zeno 20 Max, introduced in India on January 8, 2026, is positioned as a tough, value-driven smartphone aimed at users seeking durability without crossing the ₹6,000 mark.

Built to Take a Beating

The phone carries MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, meaning it’s designed to handle drops, shocks, and rough daily usage. Added to this is an IP54 rating, offering protection against dust exposure and light water splashes.

Aggressive Budget Pricing

itel has priced the device competitively, with the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant at ₹5,799, while the 4GB RAM version costs ₹6,169, keeping it firmly in the entry-level segment.

Camera with a Practical Twist

The Zeno 20 Max sports a 13MP AI-backed rear camera, highlighted by a physical sliding zoom control. This design allows quick zoom adjustments and easier one-handed photography, especially useful for instant shots.

Display and Multimedia Experience

On the front, the phone features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, delivering smoother scrolling than typical budget phones. itel’s Dynamic Bar enhances notifications and alerts, while DTS-enhanced speakers aim to improve audio output.

Core Hardware and Performance

Powering the device is the Unisoc T7100 octa-core processor, paired with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging (a 10W charger is included in the box).

Software Promise

The smartphone runs Android 14 out of the box, with itel claiming up to 36 months of smooth, lag-free usage, targeting long-term reliability for everyday users.

Availability and Colours

The itel Zeno 20 Max is sold exclusively on Amazon India and comes in Space Titanium, Aurora Blue, and Starlit Black colour options.
