Samsung has entered a new tier of home entertainment with 130-inch Micro RGB television, the R95H.

Unveiled at CES 2026, Samsung has entered a new tier of home entertainment with the debut of its 130-inch Micro RGB television, the R95H. More than just a large screen, the new display is positioned as a statement piece—where cutting-edge display engineering, artificial intelligence, and architectural aesthetics converge to reshape the role of televisions in high-end living spaces.

A new benchmark for colour accurac

The R95H is built around Samsung’s Micro RGB display system, an advanced architecture that employs sub-micron red, green, and blue LEDs as individual, self-emissive light sources. Unlike conventional LED or OLED panels, each pixel’s colour and brightness are controlled independently at a microscopic scale, enabling unprecedented precision across the expansive 130-inch surface.

According to Samsung, this technology achieves complete coverage of the BT.2020 colour space, allowing the TV to reproduce colours with exceptional fidelity and depth. Visual performance is further refined by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, which continuously analyses on-screen content to optimise contrast, enhance fine details, and balance tones dynamically. An advanced anti-reflective layer ensures the display remains immersive even in brightly lit environments, minimising glare without dulling image quality

Design that blurs the line between art and technology

Samsung is deliberately framing the R95H as more than a television. Encased within its new “Timeless Frame” design, the display presents itself like a floating digital artwork rather than a traditional screen. The slim framing and gallery-like presentation allow it to blend seamlessly into luxury interiors, functioning as both a visual centrepiece and a design element

Audio is equally integrated into the overall aesthetic. A custom-engineered sound system is built directly into the frame, aligning sound output with on-screen action to create a more cohesive and spatially accurate listening experience—without the need for external speakers.

AI-driven intelligence beyond viewing

Powering the R95H is Samsung’s Vision AI Companion, a next-generation platform based on large language models. This enables more natural, conversational interaction through Bixby, making content discovery and system control feel intuitive rather than menu-driven. Context-aware AI modes automatically adjust picture and audio settings for specific content types, such as sports or live broadcasts.

The television also expands into productivity and lifestyle use cases. Built-in access to Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity transforms the screen into a large-format information and assistance hub, while features like real-time translation and AI-generated wallpapers push the TV beyond entertainment. Reinforcing its long-term value proposition, Samsung has pledged seven years of Tizen OS updates, positioning the R95H as a future-proof investment rather than a short-lived luxury gadget.
