ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially revealed its latest audio accessory—the ROG Cetra Open Wireless—aimed at users who want immersive sound without completely shutting out the world around them. Built with an open-ear concept, these earbuds are designed for gamers, music lovers, and active users who value comfort, awareness, and versatility.
What Makes the ROG Cetra Open Wireless Stand Out
The new earbuds use an open-ear structure paired with
flexible liquid-silicone ear hooks, allowing sound to flow naturally while
keeping users alert to their surroundings—ideal for long gaming sessions or
outdoor use.
Connectivity is a major highlight. The earbuds support
dual-mode wireless, letting users switch between ROG SpeedNova 2.4GHz for
ultra-low-latency gaming and Bluetooth for everyday devices like smartphones
and tablets.
For audio performance, ASUS has equipped the earbuds with
large 14.2mm DLC-coated drivers, engineered to deliver clear highs, balanced
mids, and punchy lows. Users can further tailor their listening experience with
built-in sound profiles such as Phantom Bass for enhanced low frequencies and
Immersion Mode for spatial depth.
Communication is handled by a quad-microphone setup enhanced
with AI-powered noise cancellation, ensuring voice clarity during multiplayer
gaming or calls, even in noisy environments.
Battery, Durability, and Design
In Bluetooth mode, the ROG Cetra Open Wireless offers up to
16 hours of playback on a single charge with sound effects and RGB lighting
turned off. Fast charging support ensures minimal downtime. The earbuds are
also IPX5-rated, making them resistant to sweat and light splashes—suitable for
workouts and outdoor activities.
Adding to the gamer-centric appeal is customizable ASUS Aura
RGB lighting, allowing users to sync the earbuds’ look with other ROG gear.
Price and Availability in India
ASUS has not yet confirmed the official price or launch date
in India for the ROG Cetra Open Wireless. However, the company has indicated
that more details will be shared soon. Existing ROG Cetra audio products are
already available through major online platforms, suggesting a similar retail
rollout.
